FREE Chipper Days

In response to the severe winter storms. MRFSC is opening its seasonal curbside chipping service now in stead of waiting until June.


However, chipping will be subject to WEATHER CONDITIONS!!!  If it rains or snow, services may be delayed. DO NOT REGISTER for services in April  or May if you have concerns about the slash piles being at the side of the road for an extended period. The contractors will do their best but wet wood is very difficult to chip. Likewise, access to properties if it snows may slow down services. it is not the responsibility of the contractor to dig your slash out from under the snow.  This is why we usually wait until June.


MRFSC pleased to share that it currently has two active curbside chipping grants:
one from CAL FIRE's California Climate Investment grant program and
one from the USDA Forest Service via the California Fire Safe Council
We look forward to providing curbside chipping services for the San Bernardino mountain communities between Waterman Canyon and Big Bear Valley.
